ANGA Uszczelnienia Mechaniczne Sp. z o.o. (ANGA Mechanical Seals LLC) is private Polish manufacturing business established in 1981. The headquarters of our company is situated in the south of Poland, in the Silesia province, in Kozy close to Bielsko-Biała.

Józef Gacek, the grandfather of ANGA's founder, established a forge on the road from Wilamowice to Bielsko-Biała. The smithy produced tools and provided forging services. The activity of the forge was not interrupted by the historical upheavals of the two world wars.
The forge's activities are limited to minor blacksmithing and locksmithing.
On the site of the forge, engineer Antoni Gacek establishes the ANGA Machine Mechanics Plant (ZMM). Initially, the factory was involved in the regeneration of gaskets and the production of precision parts, mainly for the mining industry.
Based on the experience gained in the regeneration of seals, the company began to manufacture its own seals, initially for the mining, chemical and petrochemical industries.
Zakład Mechaniki Maszyn (ZMM) ANGA has been awarded the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certificate. Eng. Antoni Gacek receives the Golden Statuette of the Polish Business Leader '94 and the Golden Laurel of the Katowice Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Establishment of ANGA Uszczelczenia Mechaniczne Sp. z o.o., an engineering company based on the personnel and technologies taken over from ZMM ANGA. The new company takes over the entire production of mechanical seals as well as the production of precision machine parts, spare parts and fittings for seals.
Establishment of CERTECH Sp. z o.o.
Opening of a new production hall.
ANGA obtains ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification.
ANGA receives the European Medal from the Committee for European Integration and the Business Centre Club for the first time.
The company is awarded the "European Medal" for gas-dynamic (non-contact) seals.
Zakład Mechaniki Maszyn (ZMM) ANGA is transformed into ANGA-SERWIS Sp. z o. o.
ANGA becomes a member of the European Sealing Association (ESA).
Establishment of AVIOMECHANIKA Sp. z o.o.
ANGA obtains a patent for bi-directional grooves in gas dynamic seals.
ANGA Research Laboratory is established, accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation, providing metrology services.
ANGA obtains EN 9100 certification for the machining and production of parts for the aerospace industry.
ANGA has implemented a system for the transfer of material markings in accordance with EN 764-5.
CERTECH moves to new headquarters in Wilamowice.
ANGA obtains the OHSAS 18001 / PN-N-18001 certificate. From 2020 ISO 45001.
Opening of a new service building for seal and pump repairs.
ANGA extends its quality system to include the requirements of Directive 2014/34/EU for equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (the so-called ATEX Zone 0).
ANGA receives an award in the 2018 ranking of the Family Business Forum by Forbes magazine.
A photovoltaic system with a capacity of almost 48 kW has been installed on the production building.
